Counteroffer not honoredWhat is the name of your state? Illinois A price on a house that I badly want was 549,000. I countered to the agent 510,000 in writing. When I called the agent on the phone, they verbally countered my offered with a price of 544,000. After some conversation with the agent, I decided that I wanted to accept this offer. I told the agent to send me the this counteroffer in writing. I made it clear that I'm willing to accept this counteroffer. He started hesitating on the phone and said he needs to go check another offer in his office. Can I please have some legal advice about this situation? thank you |

| Simple... absent a SIGNED contract.... you have NO legal rights to do anything.
__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |

| You can wait and hope your offer is accepted. Counter with an even higher offer. Change your mind and back out of the offer. The seller can signed your offer and make it official. Hope for a higher offer from you or anyone else. Decide they don't want to sell. |

| Sounds like you weren't the only one bidding on the house. The one with the most $$$ to the seller's net wins. |
