debris on lot

What is the name of your state? NC
as a nc builder, i am selling a home. the buyers find a pile
of debris on the lot that i was not aware of when i bought
the lot. it obviously came from the home behind this one. do
the homeowners behind my house have any responsibility to
remove the debris, or am i responsible as builder and seller?

It may be obvious to you but to a judge there's a little thing called "PROOF" .

Move the crap and clean up the lot. It's cheaper than filing a lawsuit.
