What is the name of your state? Texas
My mother recently agreed to sell her house to a sister. Her sister had some papers drawn up a contract of some sort, it reads seller agrees to sell to purchaser the following real property it explains the terms of payment type etc.. On the top of the contract it reads CONTRACT FOR DEED. Both parties signed and recorded at the county. Can the purchaser use this document to change the name on property through the appraisle district . Or does it have to be paid and DEED signed over to new owner.
Thanks in advance.
