Delayed Closing

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Georgia

I have had my house under contract since mid-November. We were supposed to have closed on the house December 3rd. It is now January 26th, and we still haven't closed. The original date was changed several times, and now we don't even have a closing date, though my realtor assures me the buyers still want the house. I have spent close to $2,000 extra these last two months during the delays. The initial delays were the buyers fault. They didn't get the inspection stips back on time, and then they didn't apply for a loan until well after they were supposed to. The later delays have been caused by the loan company who has taken over a month to process the loan. I am told we will close in the next week or so. Do I have any recourse against these sellers or against the lender?

**A: read your last sentence; aren't you the Seller?
