Delays

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Kansas
We signed a contact on 04-05-08 to have a house built. It's been a nightmare almost from day one of construction. Almost 10 months later and the house isn't complete. Subcontractors won't show up now because they are not being paid. Do we have any recourse at all?
