Disclosure Faux PASWhat is the name of your state? CA When buying a home I faced all the usual trials...found out after moving in that quite a few required things were not disclosed...like previous water under house... But what has me confused and unsure as to how to proceed are: Written into sales contract, by SELLOR as a perk, was the contents of a Wood Shed FULL of wood...when I got here 3/4 of it was Gone...doesn't that mean they owe me for 6 cords of wood? I was handed receipts for, and have a video tape of Sellor stating, that all the windows and skylights were replaced for the Sale...when a couple of windows failed, within one week of move in...I contacted the Glass Co that did install and was told only 1/2 of each window was replaced ...they just made the receipt look like it was for complete job. Isn't this fraud on the part of the Sellor? Absolutely no defects were disclosed about House...the inspection, which was lax, but standard for the area, of course wouldn't see these things... I already dealt with Microwave exploding, washer leaking all over, refrigerator failing, Porch light disconnected, Toilet leaking...etc But now find 3/4 of tiles in Solarium are floating on slab and not adhered...as I had noticed 6 cracks and wanted to replace those tiles Garage Doors leak water into garage during rains... I can't for one minute believe the Sellor would have no clue as to these problems... How would YOU proceed with coming to a fair "understanding"? |

| Did you do your due diligence and have the house fully inspected? |

| Yes he/she did. Quote:
I would contact the seller and ask them. I would contact your Realtor and ask them (let them earn their 3%). I would force the issue, then sue for damages. Be sure to document everything with pictures, repair bills, etc. |

The reason I asked, is a full home inspection would have revealed most of these issues. |

| Did your realtor not attend the inspection??? That may have kept the inspector a littl more honest. Also, a home warranty could have covered many (though probably not all) of these issues.

| **A: not if the inspector was inexperienced and the inspection was conducted below the ASHI standard. |
