What is the name of your state? Mo

My husband and I are wanting to make a bid on a home that is in foreclosure with the bank
The last owner let water pipes bust and windows open during January of this year. This created mold. After a mold inspector came in and deemed it moldy She moved out and the bank forclosed on the property, so the bank owns it. No repairs of mold removal were done.
The real estate agent had us sign a waiver to view the 2- story 15 year old home. we love it. The carpet has been removed, due to mold and the walls below the windows have "wet" repairs done.
We saw no visible signs of mold.
We are meeting with our real estate agent in 2 days to gove an offer. Isnt the bank responsible for the mold cleanup before the sell?
thanks to anyone that can give adviceWhat is the name of your state?

Nope. YOU have to factor the risk/cost of mold remediation in your offer on the property. The bank will sell 'as is'.

Factor about $8000.00 for it. We just looked at a HUD home that had mold that was cleaned and not remediated and the lowest estimate was $7400.00 on a 1800 sq. ft. home
