Do I need a lawyer to purchase a home?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Virginia

I'm in the process of searching for my first home. Do I need to have a lawyer to look over the contract?

Is it a good idea, especially if you may not understand the contract?

In other words, you may want one.
