document storage fee at closingWhat is the name of your state? FL I signed a buyers disclosure document that stated I would pay X amount document storage fee to the real estate company at closing. At closing, I have final signed closing papers that show the seller paid this fee but I (buyer) did not. I was represented by a real estate agent during my closing and reviewed line by line all items on closing statement including this fee and everything was indicated as being correct. Now real estate company is hounding me for this fee saying my Title company made a mistake on my closing statement. So, I have one document that says I will pay this fee and a later final closing document that says I do not. Does one document have precedence over the other? Am I legally bound to pay this fee? |

| I do not agree to paying the fee. I feel that the signed closing documents override any previous document signed but I want to know if I am right in making that assumption. Do I legally have to pay the fee? |
