Does she have a right

What is the name of your state? California

We just sold our home and Escrow is closed and everything is finished. It has been about 2 weeks now since Escrow has closed. The real estate agent of the new owners of the home called me today and told me that she needed to have a meeting with us because the water heater is not 18 inches off the ground. She had an inspection of the home durring the sale and everything was up to code on the paperwork.

Are we still liable for this water heater after the house transaction is final and even if she had all her inspections durring the sale?

**A: the 18" is only required if the heater is located in a garage or carport. Tell the agent to have a meeting with the home inspector instead.
