DON'T want my Realtor Any More

What is the name of your state? MD

I have had a realtor now for two months who has never showed my home, takes weeks to return phone calls and talked my elderly grandmother into signing a year contract with her on the selling of our home.

Do I have any legal recourse to get out of this? What are the ramifications if I have a seller who came to me off the street with an offer??

Call your realtor's manager and ask to be assigned another realtor, one who returns phone calls and markets properties. The listing agreement belongs to the company not the realtor. Your agent's job is to market your property to other agents and the public - and to keep you informed every step of the way.
