| Michigan first-time home buyer (not selling, just buying). Think I can purchase a home without a realtor, and would prefer to, since I'm asking for $4,400 in seller help (FHA loan) and I'm thinking that if I don't have a realtor who requires a commission that I'll have more negotiating leverage. Do I need to purchase stock forms off the internet to make an offer on a home? Can I just makie the offer verbally and have the seller draw up the paperwork for me to sign? Since lender will handle title search (right?), do I even need a lawyer? Just trying to save money. Where can I cut corners? |
