FL Timeshare contract dispute

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? FL
Florida Time share contract date dispute

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? FL, My wife and I purchased a timeshare in Florida on 12/8/08. We had decided to cancel the purchase and but it was more than 10 days after the purchase date. We reviewed our file and realized that we had not received a complete contract so we called them and they faxed us a complete contract on 12/20/2008. Upon receipt of the complete contract we noticed that the form that was signed by me acknowledging receipt of all contracts was dated 12/18/08. All documents were dated by the closing agent. The Florida statute says I can cancel within 10 days of contract date OR date of delivery of a completed contract. My arguement is that I should be able to cancel up to 12/28/08 but the timeshare management company says it is just a mistake and they refuse to give me my money back. I cancelled on 12/22/08.
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
