foreclosure

What is the name of your state? Tennessee
Can the mortgage company forclose on your home if their is a tax lein on it?

**A: sure they can. They can foreclose if there are tax liens, judgements and anything else.

And I ""believe"" the tax lien, if state or federal, is subordinite to the mortgage....only the county property tax HAS to be paid....if there's no money left after the foreclosure to pay the lien.....

Then expect court action like garnishments from wages and bank accounts.
