General QuestionWhat is the name of your state?NY One of my co workers asked me this and I had no idea. So I thought I would come here. He signed a contract on 5/25/04 with a closing date of 7/9/04. The bank needed some other paperwork to close and his attorney was not in town. He has not heard form anyone after he faxed everything. Does the contract become null and void and does the house go back on the market. I said I didnt think alot of closing closed on time. Any suggestions? |

**A: the contract has expired unless the condition in said contract states otherwise. |

| What happens next? Does the house go back on the market. That seems wierd after all the work he has done. Like inspection and appraisal. |
