Getting out of an exclusive agent agreement to rent my houseWhat is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? MD Hello. I signed an exclusive contract with a real estate agent to RENT my house. Prior to signing the exclusive agreement I already had a rental advertisement on the Internet, WHICH I informed her about via email (I have the original email). She did not tell me specifically to take down the ad, she only told me verbally I could not post my own newspaper ad after I signed the agreement (I guess it's my word against hers though). Ultimately, I found someone to rent my house from my internet ad. She claims I still owe her her commission, which is approx. one month's rent. Do I still owe her? Or is her contract non-binding because my ad was already posted BEFORE I signed her agreement? Thanks for any and all legal advice on this matter. |

__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |
