Having my name put on the title or deed

My fiancee and I were looking into buying a house, but now he does not want to do this because my credit is not as good as his and he's looking for a good rate and doesn't want to put any money down. We will both be living there before and after the marriage. What are my choices for getting my name on the deed. I know that we both will be contributing to paying the mortgage and furnishing it.
