HELP! Buyers asking for money for repairs long after close of escrow!

What is the name of your state? California

Last August I sold my home in San Jose California which I have owned for about 5 years to a young couple. When I listed my home I filled out all the necessary disclosure forms that were provided by my real estate agent to the best of my knowledge. I also completed a termite inspection and property inspection as well. After we had accepted an offer from the young couple, they were given a 10 day contingency period to do all of their inspections and conduct their due diligence. They signed and initialed all the disclosure forms as well as the termite inspection and property inspection. They even went as far as hiring their own property inspector to perform another inspection of my home. Everything was fine and they requested a few minor repairs to be done which I did for them. Please know that the repairs they requested were not related to their problems they are having now. Now just last month they contacted me saying that the electrical wiring in my house was installed poorly or incorrectly, that there was water damage in the master bathroom sub-floor and that they also had a land slide in the side yard when it was raining heavy. All these claims are absolutely new to me and I wasn't aware that the wiring in the house was done poorly or not to code as they said it was. To the best of my knowledge, I disclosed any and all information I knew about my home to them when they purchaed it. When I originally purchased the home, I purchased it in "as-is" condition so I was not completely aware of the exact condition of the home as well, but I ordered several different inspections when I purchased it back then and everything was fine since then. My question is are the buyers just trying to get some money from me or do they have a legitimate complaint? I'm thinking since there was two different home inspections done and a termite inspection and all the inspections were approved by the buyers before they removed their contingencies, how can they come now and try to have me pay for the land slide issues and the electrical. Essentially they want me to pay for a new retaining wall on the side yard, pay for the cost of the water damage in the sub-floor in the bathroom, and also pay for rewiring the house! Should'nt both home inspection companies be liable since they both did not disclose that the electrical wiring was not installed to code or done properly on their report? Do I need to get my real estate agent involved in this as well since he represented me in the sale or is this problem just between me and the buyers? Is my real estate agent or the inspection companies (i.e. termite and property inspectors) liable in some way as well? PLEASE HELP! Thank you!

They had their inspections done and signed off on the contingencies before closing last August. It has been my experience in life that things work until they don't. So, it is their problem now.

They waited six months to do anything. Tell them to eat your grits.
