Help? Confused about Listing Agent and Seller Obligations What is the name of your state? MA
I currently have my property listed through a real estate agent, and have signed a listing agreement. If I bring the buyer to the table, and the buyer does not have an agent, are they obligated to utilize a buyer's agent in this transaction? If they are not obligated to use an agent, is it also a correct assumption that I am only obligated to 1/2 of the commission, given that there is no buyer's agent involved?
If I bring the buyer to the table, does the listing agent even need to be involved at all? |
