HELP! Roof leaking on my children!

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Washington
I live in King County, Washington. My husband and I bought a home last year. We asked in our contract to have the roof fixed because it had been leaking and caused some damage througout the home. The seller agreed, the inspector ok'd the work.
The problem is that only three months later water is leaking in every room in my house.
I contacted the seller and he said" it was the roofers problem because they guarnteed the work" I contacted the roofer and he said " the seller never paid him so the guarantee will not be honored".
So what now? Should I sue someone to get this roof fixed or is it just my problem? Is there any way to do this myself I am a full time student and have two children, I can't afford a lawyer. But, I can't afford a leaky roof either.

Any advise would be sincerely appreciated.

Have another roofer come out and give you an estimate to repair the roof. Be sure that he notes what the problem(s) is/are on his paperwork. Then, send a copy of the estimate to the seller AND the roofer. Include that they have 10 days to contact you to schedule the repair or to pay for the roof. Then, if they don't, your only real option is to consider taking them to small claims court to recover your 'damages'. Sue both of them to keep them from pointing figures at the other.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

**A: do nothing or take out that contract and read it. Then sue the Seller.

Sounds like you should have negotiated a whole new roof not just some repairs!

Here's some info if you should go to small claims:

Hope for a summer like last year...
