Help to XCL realtor and MLS

Please help me any way possible. I listed my house for the past 6 weeks or so with a realtor and he did a horrible job. The description was wrong and brought to his attention the first day, the wrong price was in the paper, the wrong times for the open house were in the paper, and it goes on. I told him I was pulling the house yesterday and I took the contract that we first signed designating him to be our realtor. On this contract, I wrote 'Contract Void and unenforceable'. Is this all I need if I decide tomorrow to list with another company or list FSBO? He brought over a sheet today or me to sign stating that we withdrew the listing from the MLS. I don't want to sign it because, after voiding the contract yesterday, this new piece of paper means nothing. Plus, he checked off a W for "Withdrawn". The other codes, which I do not know, are A, P, L, C, OA, OP, OW, OL and OC. Please let me know if I have done the right thing, or if there is something else that I need to do.

**A: you need a release from the principal broker. Make the call tomorrow.

As in most professions, there are a few bad apples in our industry as well. Call the Supervising Broker, tell the Broker about the problems......ask the Broker if there is someone that is "Qualified" to take the listing.

Usually when agent's/REALTORS have designations like BROKER, CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), or ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative), 9 out of 10 know what their doing**************
