HOA rules

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida:eek
I moved from CT to Florida during the summer of 08. Forebearing all the moving disasters, etc, I was not informed by my realestate agent about the HOA rules proir to the move, and found the regulations in several notebooks on the kitchen counter upon physically moving in. I am disabled, with a registered service dog, a Doberman, who I have had for 5 years..This dog is not a pet. I have constantly received threatening letters from the HOA demanding me to remove the dog immediately, because they do not tolerate this type of breed here. The dog is not a threat to anyone nor does he leave the home and is under complete control at all times. Included, have been letters certified letters etc complaining my landscaping is in violation. I have hired a crew of landscapers to monthly preen and weed and trim (this is a very small lot) at additional expense to me, and this is not enough to satisfy these tyrants. There are wild hogs which dig my grass, soil my yard, and terrorize me routinely and I have provided this HOA with all the facts, and they are still harassing me.. I am not working, and have not collected any sort of disability supplementation, and am running out of savings from the sale of my previous home what can I do to defend myself from this constant harassment??? I am not well, and this is disrupting my sleep my daily functions and my happiness I am afraid to go to my mailbox, in fear of what is coming from them next..HELP!!!!!What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

**A: you need to now hire your own attorney to fight the HOA.
