Arizona home purchase w/ contingency. We are the buyers. Contract states if sellers receive 2nd offer, we have 48 hrs to remove contingency and provide proof of financing.

Sellers gave notice of 2nd offer to us on Friday, 2pm; 48hr period ends on Sunday, 2pm. We did not have adequate time to obtain proof of financing due to normal business hours, but supplied sellers with everything by Monday. Seller agent was not available during weekend. Sellers think contract is cancelled, we do not.

Who's right?

Even though we only had a few hours to try to obtain the proof on Friday?
