Exclamation

how do i get out of my lease?

What is the name of your state? Colorado

About a month ago my apartment was broken into, the only thing stolen was my cat. The management from my apartments had failed to let me know what had happened i go in to check on my cat and shes not there, i just thoght maybe she go out. Nope. my neighbors roommate broke in and took her. Even after admitting the Amber "the manager" had known about it she still wouldnt claim responsibility of having to contact me becuase it was still a police investigation, and wasnt at all in anyway her problem or responsibility. I have been trying to back out of my lease since and for some reason the manager is making false assumptions and calling in animal control because my cat is dying. Because she went into my apartment without notifying me and saw that it had no food or water so now she is calling animal control every other week telling them im starving her and she is dying she so far to my knowledge her or other staff from the apartment have been in my apartment 3 times without my knowledge or consant. And today she called and said she was calling aninmal control again and that i need to get the cat out of the apartment and turn in my keys can she do that? Doesnt she have to give a notice?

If your cat was stolen (who steals cats?), then how can you get in trouble for not feeding a non-existent cat?
