how to draft a buyer addendumWhat is the name of your state? New York I am a new RE investor with interest in a FSBO deal with a fellow investor. Meeting him tomorrow to sign a purchase and sale contract and pay an earnest money deposit. I want to draft a buyer addendum that is concise and expressly states a: - 14-day contingency period - open-ended inspection clause - earnest money refundable Any suggestions for the legalese of such an addendum? Thanks...Gladys |

| Yep... delay your signing and get a good LOCAL attorney to help you. Being cheap in a LEGAL agreement is a sure path to an expensive lawsuit.
__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |

| Any suggestions for the legalese of such an addendum? The best way to lose your INVESTMENT is to not know what you are doing and go forth anyway. At minimum you should be having an Atty versed in Real Estate to look over ANY contracts before you sign them. |
