How to prepare an initial writen offer?

What is the name of your state? GA
I do not have a buyer agent but want to make an initial offer. How shall I make the initial offer, just telling the seller’s agent the price I can offer or had better to provide a written statement/letter? If the written statement/letter is better, how to prepare a simple initial offer statement/letter to buy a house? Thanks.

Verbal stuff doesn't go in real estate deals. Unless both the buyer and seller have something signed, there is no contract.

What I mean is the initial offer. For example, I would like to offer $$$k. But the seller may say No. If the seller does not take $$$k, I will go away. If the seller says ok, then, of course, we need to sign a contract. Now my question is whether I can simply make an initial oral offer or must provide a written statement. If you think the written statement is better, please tell me what form should be used or how to draft it. I do not have a buyer agent and may deal with the FSBO directly. Thanks.

If you don't know what your doing (and obviously, you don't since your posting on an internet forum where the responders may not know any more than you do) , than you need a Realtor or a real estate attorney. A written statement is a sales contract or in some areas an offer to purchase. Both the Buyer and Seller need to sign it for the offer to become valid. Oral offers or statements are not valid,
