I want to get rid of my house legally.

I have a house that I've been trying to sell for 11 months now. I've already bought and moved into a new house. Due to the current real estate mood in my town houses just aren't selling. Is there anyway I can get rid of the house without hurting my credit, and without selling it?

Give it to someone who is willing to assume the mortgage, if the lender allows it.

My mortgage is not assumable. It's a VA loan

Check with VA as you can find another VA buyer or if non VA lose your CE.
