I purchased a home in ohio last year. I hired a structural engineer to inspect a basement wall since it had some steel bracing supporting it. The structural engineer stated that the wall was sound, but now I have 2 other experts stating that it is not safe. Is the engineer I hired liable for his mistake?....do I have a case in sueing him to repair the wall?
