Joint property problems

What is the name of your state? Michigan
This is regarding the joint property mentioned earlier, owned by 4 brothers. One brother has been getting into the others cabins and stealing items he never paid for. Three owners paid for a well system delivering drinking water. The fourth brother who never paid is getting free water but also went into another cabin and stole the T post to turn the water on and off. Is there anything we can do to stop him from ruining the whole place? Can we separate the ownership so he is on his own? Where can I go to get some answers? Thank you.

There are several things you can do.

First, invite him to the cabins for a family party to celebrate something, then beat the crap out of him...

Or you can file a petition for Partition in Kind in which the judge will divide up the property in the proportion of family interest and each brother will get a deed for his share to convey undivided interest in the property.

That's the only two things I can think of...unless there is a well big enough to drop him down.

I agree with hexy except I would not drop him down the well. You best not contaminate the drinking water.
