land purchase contractWhat is the name of your state? North Carolina We signed an agreement to purchase a lot which was overgrown. Previous to the closing, the land was bushogged to show a 3ft deep, developer made, drainage ditch starting at the beggining of the lot on our left, through our potential lot and through the lot beside us which is wet lands. We have canceled the closing. Does the land owner need to disclose the drainage ditch which runs through the middle of the proposed property and the fact that the land beside us is considered wet-lands? They are trying to withhold hour hand money. |

You wre also responsible to complete due diligence such as getting a survey, property and surrounding property history etc. |
