Leaky Roof found after closingI live in Connecticut, I purchased a house and found that I had a problem with the roof. I am not sure if I attempt to rectify the problem with the sellers or the inspector. There were heavy winds and rain two days after I closed on the house and I found a leak in the kitchen the following day. Now the inspector told me about some shingles that were curled on the roof on the right side of the garage which is at the other end of the hosue but never said anything about the rest of the roof in the inspection report done before closing. Come to find out, the 13 year old house needs a new roof (despite there being 15 year shingles on the house) and I have a stain in the kitchen that needs tobe fixed. Any advise would be of great assistance! Thanks, Dave |

| No I cannot prove anything, although my feeling is that the inspector should have pointed out the fact that I needed the roof. |

| What did the inspectors report say in regards to the roof? |

| NO specifics on the report except that the roof appeared to be in original condition and that there were a few curled shingles on the right side of the garage which is at the opposite side of the house. I am having an inspection done by a GC. |
