Lease Purchase

I currently live in California but have a property in Illinois which we sold on a lease purchase plan. The tenant/buyer has been late numerous times, but it always ends up being because of the postal service not delivering in a timely manner. On one occasion their check bounced. But the main concern is that my husband and I recently became unemployed and are thinking about moving back to Illinois. Could we legally get our home back because of our situation?

Have an attorney review your lease/purchase contract.
