letter of commitment

i went online to lending tree dot com and applied for a loan and was approved for the money. well the builder needed a letter of commitment from the mortgage co in order to start building. well the mortgage co gave them one and me one, and my house was started and now is over halfway done. and now the lender says they wont give me the money. what can i do before the house is finished?

There is more to this story so hire an attorney.
