Liability on an easement I am in the process of purchasing a home, and just learned that the driveway of the neighboring house goes through the property of the home I am purchasing - per a recorded easement.
MY QUESTION: Is my liability (accidents, someone getting hurt, etc.) the same on the easement (the neighbor's driveway) as on the rest of my property? In other words, if someone gets hurt on my neighbor's driveway - which goes through my property via the easement, am I liable?
Or is some sort of 'release from liability' inherent in an easement?
