Like Money??Iowa Hello! I am looking at buying a house from an estate. The executor would just like to sell the house to me for $10k...it needs alot of repair. However, he said the estate attorney won't let him because of his dad's credit card debt which is around $40k. This house in its as-is condition is not worth $40k. I always thought the executors can sell for whatever price they wish, that unsecured debt has no bearing on that? I appreciate the help! Pete Cedar Rapids, Iowa |
