I have a lis pendons on my house and I want to sell it, But the person whom put it on was my ex husbands atty. The thing is when we bought the house he wanted nothing to do with it and didnt sign anything. I have totally supported that house,paid taxes, and mortage,and repairs. We have been apart for aprx. 4 years. The lis pendons has been on the books for also about 3 years. Question 1 , does lis pendons have a time limit like some other contract before they expire/ #2, Can he make a claim because he didnt sign and wanted nothing to do with the property. He did reside there with me on the propety also. Thank you for your consideration in advance. L/C.
