Is listing agent responsible for what they claim a house has?

What is the name of your state CA (only U.S. law)?

Looking at a house its a short sale they claim it has AC it has been completely
set up for AC but the actual unit itself is not there..it was not stolen
the house is only about a year old and I would guess they opted not to pay to have it.So they accepted the offer now the AC will come up with the Home inspection.Do i have a chance to make them buy it?

**A: your chances are slim to none on a short sale. Short sales are on an as-is basis.

**A: why are you blaming the listing agent? What is stated in the sales contract with respect to the HVAC?

I'm not blaming anyone it states the house has central AC. Before I stirred up
trouble I was wondering if I had any chance at all..Thats why I posted here.
If i brought it up i bet the bank would back out and i want the house..

Okay; you can't gripe about misrepresentation since you know about it.

Your very dishonest. You want to get something for nothing and have someone else pay for it.

**A: not exactly true. It appears the OP is relying on a listing agent's verbal representation rather than what is in writing on the sales contract.
