| I signed a contract to purchase a home in October 1999. I have not closed on the property due to Title V (septic) complications. For the 16 months that have passed, the outside landscaping has not been maintained. What legal obligation does the owner have to clean up the mess? A professional will need to be hired at this point. The realtor that represents the owner states that they are only required to maintain the dwelling. Thank you very much. |

| The owners Realtor is full of crap. Read the sales contract as there should be a clause with respect to property condition at closing being the same as at time of offer. Property is defined as that which is purchase ie. house, fixtures, landscaping etc. |
