| Hello, I am buying a house in Texas, and am curious if I should sign our state's standard Mediation Addendum. Is it mainly to protect the seller, buyer, or maybe free up the courts? What future hypothetical may concern the buyer, regarding signing it or not? Thank you! |

| It is a form of alternative dispute resolution. Faster and cheaper than the courts. Only if settled though. |
