Misrepresentation - Fraudulent ClaimsWhat is the name of your state? Colorado We closed on our new home in October 2003. It backs to a planned lake. We were told (lied to) by the sales rep. that the planned lake was to become a water supply, that it would be recreational, and that the six foot chain link security fence would be replaced with a split rail. In the past week we have discovered that the lake is to become a water treatment and the fence will remain. We also discovered that we were not the only victims, that other neighbors had been lied to as well. I want to be certain that we have legal grounds of fraud/misrepresentaion. I have already drafted a letter to the builder however I have yet to lick the stamp. Regards, Andrew |

| "...We were told (lied to) by the sales rep. that the planned lake was to become a water supply, that it would be recreational, and that the six foot chain link security fence would be replaced with a split rail...." In what piece of paper was this written? Everything involved in a real estate transaction must be in writing or it is worthless. |
