I live in Idaho
My husband and I purchased 71 mobile home from a privite owner. cost was 6650.00 we paid 6,000 cash and she said we could make 215.00 payments for 3 months on balance. Before we purchased We asked if there were any electrical problems, she said none that she was aware of(she lived in home for 2 yrs). We moved in and 1 bedroom 4 outlets do not work, living room 4 outlets do not work, kitchen 5 do not work. We are very worried, and wondered if we have a legal leg to stand on to not pay her the balance, we are afraid of a fire. We have the title in our name. she gave us a bill of sale stateing what we gave her and what we owe her. She did not state as is in the paper, could someone please help us. She is wanting first payment on 16th of this month and I am afraid she will harass us. What should we do? Thank you for your kindness and help! Sincerely lucy

You should have gotten a home inspection before you bought. It is not too late. Get this inspection and also get some quotes from licensed electricians to fix the problems. Then you will have something concrete to negotiate with the Seller.
