mold found in walls

We purchased our home 8 months ago and have already replaced two walls from water damage that the previous owner denies knowing about. The master shower leaks to the outside of the house as well as inside and the previous owner was informed of the leak and agreed to fix leak, but to this day it still leaks. We have now discovered mold between walls and behind baseboards and behind wallpaper. It is very obvious that it has been leaking for some time and was covered up. Do we have a case to take him to court and sue for repairs? We live in Robeline, LA and did not use a realtor. The inspector told the seller how to fix the shower but to have someone look into it and make sure it's nothing more than needing new caulk. Do we stand a chance?

**A: have an attorney review your contract , seller diaclosure statement and advise you. You need a contractor to give you an estimate.
