We closed on a home in Kansas in May, 2000. The seller's disclosure indicated wetness in the basement, but also that repairs had been made. The VA inspection did not mention any problem with the basement. The basement has completely flooded twice already this spring, we have spent $1,000 to make repairs and fear more expensive repairs are going to be needed.
