| state of maine. when i purchased home. i recieved a mortgage loan inspection or class d survey. if i decide to sue due to errors on the survey. what is the statue of limitations? is it the four years for a surveyor or six years. does it fall under a different law than a surveyor because it involves financing, marketable. the house had zoning problems that where not identified by the loan inspection, or class d survey.thanks |

| I am not sure of the SOL, but it would fall under a negligence case. You need to hire a real estate attorney. |
