Must we refund deposit

What is the name of your state? california

So what good is it to put a deposit down on property if it does not mean anything.

I do know now after consulting with a lawyer that in the agreement I should have stated what happens to the deposit if someone fails to fulfill an agreement. Live and learn.

Well I am new and did try to reply It didn't go through. Guess I am not as smart as you!!!!!!!!! I have noticed that most questions are a bit anoying to you. Sorry
