Need help Asap

What is the name of your state? NY
I had posted a few times regarding getting out of a house contract- i am getting out now. i just have a question - i have noticed my fiancee has been tracking all the emails between us since this house thing started. Can any of those emails be used if this legal matter escalates?
Thanks
Paula

Need advice asap Part 2

I was going back and forth with getting in on this deal because i feel as though i was under duress when i went to sign the contract. My fiancee would then sweet talk me back into it when he saw i was going to back out. I called lawyer and told him not to send out my $ and get me off the contract. Lawyer sends it out anyway. Make a long story short, i was still going back and forth with this whole thing . One day i would be totally out, then my fiancee would manipulate me into changing my mind. I now see that he has been tracking and saving all his emails. The emails would only show me going back and forth on the deal....most say i am uncomfortable with this whole thing. Can i get in any trouble if he tries using them against me somehow? Like to show that i couldn;t make up my mind and so i have to commit to something i wasn't comfortable with to begin with. We have since broken up but i am in still involved in this real estate transaction that i don't want any part of & i didn't really do anything to protect myself legally when this hit the fan. I can't see the emails doing anything but i figured i would ask anyway. Thanks for any help/guidance you can give.

Well, what you've described isn't legal duress, so I doubt they'd be of any use under any circumstances. But even if they were, he'd have to prove that the emails actually came from you, not just that they have your name in the "from" field on a printout.
