Question

Need title co. to keep disbursement frozen, what do I do?

What is the name of your state? California

What needs to be done in order to freeze home sale proceeds, so funds are not dispersed prior to divorce settlement?

Is getting a judges order required? Or do I just fill out a form at the title co?

**A: it depends on who you are and if you are "related" to the property? In some cases a court order is needed and in other cases a letter to escrow will suffice.
