**A: yes. Rather that putting up with this crap why don't you hire a home inspector, fix what you can on the report and then give the prospective Buyer's the inspection report and your list of items corrected. Then you have proof and evidence to contradict the BS from the neighbors.
By the way, on what premise are the neighbors saying not structually sound and moisture problems? They must know something.
