I live in Illinois and bought a house that was owned by my realator. The person who built the house was her husband. They lived in the house for 2 years. I have had the house since December 2000. They did not disclose any problems, but come this rainy season, everything leaks! WE are talking about a $300,000. home. I have water coming in the basement, upstair walls under windows, through light socket in garage. What can I do???

Please help.

Didn't have a home inspector upon closing.

You have a good case so contact a home inspector now to document the defects and consult with a real estate attorney that specializes in seller disclosure issues.
