Non-disclosed defect - Can I do anything

What is the name of your state?ohio

I just bought a new home. I closed in the 3rd week of September, and got possession on October 14th. The property has a hot tub, which I have now found out has a bad motor that will cost over 600.00 to fix. It was not listed in the disclosure, but I suspect the previous owner knew about it. Is there anything I can do, or do I have to just live with it?

Why did it take you 4 weeks to take occupancy? Did you rent-back to the seller?

**A: and tell us why you did not ask the home inspector to check it or check it yourself. Now you're in hot water but it's not in the hot tub.
